This past Saturday was juniors day for the 2015 turkey hunting season. Monday was the real opening day for anyone that wants to hunt. Juniors day is only for kids under the age of 16. If you are an adult/older than 16 you are not allowed to hunt or even carry a weapon on juniors day. Juniors day is a day for just the kids to go out and have first pick on the new birds. Turkey season is a good time for hunters to get some field time before they start deer hunting later in the year. A real hunter should always be happy to get in the field no matter the conditions. The more you are in the fields you are going to be hunting, then the better off your gonna be.
