The eighth grade is going on their annual water rafting trip soon, but we need money to send them. For this, the eighth grade students have been working on posters and fundraising activities to contribute to raising money. The types of activities that we’ve put together include a bottle drive, a middle school dance, and a hat fundraiser.
These activities are occurring on the week of Monday, May 11, 2015, through Friday, May 15, 2015. We are encouraging everyone to take recyclables to school by May 15, 2015, for the bottle drive. We will recycle all of these bottles and contribute the money we raise to our eighth grade field trip funds. The hat fundraiser that we’ve put together is taking place all next week (11-15, 2015). Students are allowed to wear their hats one day, all day, for one dollar a day. Last, there’s a dance on Friday, May 15, 2015, for all middle schoolers. This dance will take place at 6:00-9:00pm and will cost four dollars. We hope you take part in these fundraisers to help the eighth graders.
