Boston

Some people went to Boston for vacation. The Girl Scouts of Glenburn School took part in this. The Girl Scout Troop 808 went to Boston. The girls rented a hotel room and explored Boston with a guide. The girls traveled up the freedom trail all the way to Bunker Hill. At the top the girls checked the times that people are allowed to come and climb inside Bunker Hill Monument. Bunker Hill Monument has 294 steps and is humid and stuffy on a 55 degree weather day. When at the top it is definitely worth it when you see the view. Another monument the Girl Scouts saw was Paul Revere’s Monument. This monument reminds people of the midnight ride during the American Revolution. Paul Revere was just a regular person that made a big contribution alongside many other people. The Girl Scouts visited Old North Church where the lanterns were hung. The girls placed small donations so that they could help repair the floor boards in the church.
