For all of those people wondering on why do the kids go on field trips? Basically the reason we are allowed to even do field trips are mainly for educational purposes or to improve on something. Like the recent Borestone Mountain hike field trip for the 8th Grade. That field trip was to improve teamwork with the 8th grade class for the upcoming white water rafting field trip. It also was an opportunity to see what type of leaves they could identify on the mountain as the 8th graders had just completed a unit on plants before going. They had to identify leaves on the nature trail.
