On December 4 the East Port Breakwater collapsed into the harbor. No one was hurt, but a man and his dog where standing on the dock when it started to crumble and collapsed under him. Luckily the man and his dog where able to get off the dock in time but the mans truck not so lucky.
It will take about 14.95 million dollars to reconstruct the almost 400 foot breakwater.
Beginning to build
The first thing they had to do before building was to clear the massive amount of snow. Chris Gardner said Friday, ”It will take about 18-24 months to complete the reconstructions.”Tyler S
